Session with the Wilson Family

The leaves are falling off and we are losing the colorfulness that we wait all year for. I enjoyed capturing those last fall moments with the Wilson's today. They were full of joy and so much fun to photograph. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each sibling. I am proud to give you a sneak peak of my first sibling session...Enjoy!

Meet K...

Cloudy days are the best days to capture sweet moments! Today, I had a session with K. at Travis Price park. I am an only child, as well as my husband, so I will never have neices or nephews. Sad I know!!! ;) I hold K near and dear to my heart. Those little eyes just make me melt everytime I see her! K's mother is one of my best friends so K has become practically just like a neice to me.

We had to end our session very prematurely due to the weather but I did somehow manage to snag a few pictures before it rained. We will reschedule the session so keep looking for K's pictures in the near future.

Tashi + Shane

I had the opportunity to photograph one of my dearest friends. She was so patient as I took my sweet time making sure each picture was beautiful! Tashi is a beautiful woman and just looks so natural in front of the camera. Although we had a few difficulities (i.e. high winds and puppy dog licks...lol.) her pictures turned out great!!! Meet the Littles...

I had the honor and privilege of shooting two of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. Although, it was a hot, October afternoon we still managed to get some good shots. They were full of energy and ready to play. So glad that I got to be a special part of their day. Enjoy!!!

Married and Getting Started...

We are officially Mr. and Mrs. Appleton and I am ready to start doing what I love...PHOTOGRAPHY! I recently attended a workshop with Gray Photography and learned so much. I can't wait as I begin to grow into a better photographer and share my talents with others. Here are some pics from our photo shoot on Sunday.

One month to go...

We were exactly one day away from our wedding yesterday!!! The excitement is really starting to kick in but so are my nerves. I can't believe I am only 29 days away from being Mrs. Joshua Appleton! WOW!! I sent out our invitations today...two weeks late! Not like me at all I am usually very over prepared but it really snuck up on me. I didn't realize the wedding was so close. We are planning my bachelorette party now...headed to ATL!!! Can't wait to go with my best friends. It will be so much fun.

Knox and Macy still hate each other but we are making a little progress. Macy will at least stand next to him for a few moments. They played tug o war tonight but we kinda induced it so it does not really count.

Our newest addition...Baby Knox!

We were not really even in the market for a new dog but had talked about it briefly a few times. My mom went to the flea market in Bowling Green, Kentucky and saw a few Boston Terrier puppies there. As she began telling us about them we decided we had to have one! We began searching the internet for ads that were reasonable priced and we found a couple in Camden, TN who had purchased a puppy but could not keep him because they were moving. We text messaged them and immediately fell in love with the tiny little puppy we now call Knox! I drove two hours to get him today ONE WAY!!! He is such a joy to have around...although our Yorkie, Macy, would completely disagree. Hopefully she will soon grow to love him as much as we already do in just a few short hours of having him. He is all nested in his bed and so quiet such good little boy!!! Stay tuned for more info...
